Note: We suggest the addition of vanilla color stabilizer when using scents high in vanillin content. Fragrances containing vanilla tend to discolor (brown/black spots) melt and pour soap. It may not be noticable at first, but discoloration will occur over time. Vanilla color stabilizer allows the use of vanilla based fragrances without unsightly discoloration. However, based on the amount of vanillin in a fragrance, it may not totally eliminate discoloration issues.
